You must be a Western member in good standing and a 2011 college bound graduating high school senior seeking a Bachelor's degree at an accredited school in order to be considered for a scholarship award. Additionally the following online and mailed elements must be completed and turned in by the dates listed below to be considered for the scholarship.

Prerequisite
	1. I am a Primary Member (The student must have their own Western membership for consideration).
	2. Grade Point Average (GPA) Cumulative high school GPA (on a scale of 4.0/3.0 minimum)
Online (Must be received by April 30, 2011.)
	3. Completed Scholarship Application (Click here)
	4. Essay Topic (Click here) Please write an essay of 500 words or less on the following topic: If you could meet one historical figure whom would it be and why?
Mail (Must be postmarked by April 30, 2011.)
	5. Transcript (Only official school transcripts are accepted and must be mailed by your high school.)
	6. Letters of Recommendation Please submit two letters of recommendation, which may be from teachers, spiritual leaders, employers and/or other influential adults in your life. Letters must reference your full name.

You must be a 2011 graduating high school senior to participate in this scholarship award program and a Primary Member in good standing with Western Federal Credit Union.

Western Federal Credit Union Supervisory Committee, Board of Directors, employees and their families are not eligible to participate.

Illegible/Incomplete submissions and those submitted after the stated deadline will not be considered.
