Faster Tax Refunds with Direct Deposit

Last year, incorrect addresses prevented the IRS from delivering more than $73 million in tax refunds. To solve this problem, the IRS recommends that you have your refund directly deposited. Not only will you receive your refund more quickly, but you will also help guard against theft or losing checks in the mail.

To have your refund deposited to your Western account, you'll need to provide the IRS with your account number and our routing and transit number: 322079719.

Deposits to Checking:

Provide the IRS with the checking account number at the bottom of your checks. It is an 11 to 13 digit number positioned to the right of our routing and transit number. In the example, the account number is 01011123456.

Deposits to Savings:

Provide the IRS with your member number which you can find on your monthly statement.
