How to Join Western

Joining Western is easy. There are five convenient ways to qualify for Western membership:

  1. Through Your Work
There are hundreds of different companies around the United States who have Western as a part of their employee benefits package. If you work for one of these companies you are automatically eligible through your employer.

If your company is not listed, but you would like them to offer Western as an employee benefit, the company should contact Western's Call Center at 877-254-9328 or email us.
  2. Through Your Community
If you live, work, worship or go to school in one of our Qualified Communities you are automatically eligible for Western membership.
  3. Through Your Family
Immediate family members of existing Western members are automatically eligible for membership. This includes spouses, children, siblings, parents, grandchildren, grandparents, stepchildren, stepparents, adoptive relationships, and persons living in the same residence maintaining a single economic unit.
  4. Through the Surfrider Foundation
Because so many of our members reside in coastal areas, we formed an alliance with the Surfrider Foundation, a non-profit organization dedicated to preserving and protecting our coastal environments since 1984. This relationship gives us the opportunity to help support our environment and also allows members of the Surfrider Foundation to enjoy the benefits of Western membership.

If you are already a member of the Surfrider Foundation you are automatically eligible to join Western. If you are not yet a member of the Surfrider Foundation but would like to join, please visit their website to apply and once you've applied come on back to Western's website to sign up for Western membership.

To learn more about the Surfrider Foundation, visit their website.

A nominal fee does apply when joining the Surfrider Foundation. Western does not warrant, endorse, or guarantee any of the products or services offered by the Surfrider Foundation or any acts by them.
  5. Through Friends of Hobbs
Because many of our members reside in the Arkansas area, we formed an alliance with the Friends of Hobbs, a non-profit organization that helps Hobbs State Park Conservation Area. Hobbs has been dedicated to preserving and protecting Hobbs State Park since 2003.

If you are already a member of the Friends of Hobbs you are automatically eligible to join Western. If you are not yet a member of the Friends of Hobbs but would like to join, please visit their website to apply and once you've applied come on back to Western's website to sign up for Western membership.
