Branch Manager
Locations: Hawthorne, CA
Fayetteville, AR
Ensures compliance with Credit Union policies and procedures. Supervises and performs functions as needed of the Supervisor, Branch or Senior Branch Representatives, Member Service Representative and/or Teller. Monitors lending functions including, but not limited to, providing loan information and processing and funding loans as needed. Trains, guides and directs employees to obtain maximum use of personnel by clearly defining their duties and by establishing performance standards. Oversees cash control, inventory and security for the branch. Oversees balancing activities including ATMs, Cash Dispensing Machines (CDMs), etc. Requires a high school diploma or equivalent. Some college preferred, with a minimum of three years related experience in a financial institution. Requires a minimum of two-year supervisory experience. Must have thorough knowledge of Credit Union services, products, procedures, and lending. Requires the ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing, with individuals and groups.
EFT Supervisor
Location: Torrance, CA
This position directs and coordinates the activities of the EFT Department such as ATM, Payroll, and ACH functions. Responsibilities include ensuring account research and daily operating processes occur in a timely manner and that rules and regulations are followed. Also maintains and frequently audits internal procedures, monitors and strives to improve the level of service provided, reviews and approves letters to the membership within established guidelines, and submits fraud files. Interfacing with other departments, financial institutions, and vendors requires excellent communication skills. This position also ensures that departmental needs are met in terms of counseling, performance evaluations, training, motivation, and discipline. High school diploma or equivalent is required, with a minimum of three years related experience, preferably in a financial institution. Requires a minimum of two years supervisory experience. Must also be proficient in spreadsheet and word processing software applications as well as have the ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing, with individuals as well as groups.
IT Infrastructure Manager
Location: Torrance, CA
Supports the Credit Union's daily business and operational requirements in the network and help desk areas through system availability, proficient systems management, and peak systems performance. Some responsibilities include management of workstations, mobile equipment, telephony equipment, call routing and voice messaging systems, LAN / WAN and Telecommunications Infrastructure, network domain, domain access, and network security appliances, email messaging systems, internet access, and file storage management. Monitors processes, staff training initiatives, vendor support, and business continuity plans to ensure a 100% system uptime. Ensures departmental coverage during business hours and plans on-call and back-up support. Plans yearly systems hardware, software, and technical support budget forecasts and implements cost-saving initiatives. Leads the Network Services and Help Desk Departments, acting as a role model in leadership, service philosophy, professionalism, teamwork, and commitment to the organization. Requires a Bachelor's degree with five years of related experience, two in a supervisory capacity, preferably in a financial institution. Must have thorough knowledge of microcomputers, help desk processes and tools, internet-related services, Microsoft operating systems, Networks (LAN / WAN), Voice over IP and phone systems, data storage strategies, and server management. Must also be able to think creatively and work independently, have the ability to manage multiple projects and communicate effectively.
Lending Support Representative
Location: Hawthorne, CA
Provides vehicle ownership transfers, responds to requests regarding complex lien transfers, and general loan information to members. Obtains all necessary DMV documents and corresponding with members, DMV, and dealerships to ensure vehicle liens, performs title release functions, prepares forms and documents for DMV lien filings, maintains pending file for follow-up and receipt of vehicle, boat, RV, and aircraft titles, provides loan information to membership both in person and over the phone. Requires a high school diploma or equivalent, with two years experience preferably in a Lending environment in a financial institution. Requires the ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing, with individuals and groups. Must be proficient in spreadsheet and word processing software applications.
Member Services Representative
Locations: Fayetteville, AR
Torrance, CA
Provides exceptional service to our members. Responsibilities include receiving and disbursing funds, posting deposits and loan payments, opening accounts and IRA's, assisting with ATM, debit, and VISA cards, and inputting, processing, and funding loans. Two years minimum related financial institution experience, as well as a positive, professional attitude, and a willingness to learn and grow are a must. Some Saturday work is required as well as the ability to travel to other South Bay locations as needed. This position requires a high school diploma or equivalent with a minimum of two years experience in a financial institution. Thorough knowledge of teller functions, new accounts, and loan experience required. The ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing as well as proficiency in spreadsheet and word processing software applications is essential.
Senior Branch Representative
Locations: Rancho Carmel, CA
Torrance, CA
Performs a number of duties related to branch operations, including teller transactions, opening new accounts and lending functions. Multitasking is required and a positive outlook is a must. Position requires a high school diploma or equivalent with a minimum of two years related experience in a financial institution. A minimum of one-year branch management supervisory experience preferred. The candidate must have thorough knowledge of all Teller and New Accounts functions including branch back office processes. Candidate must be recognized as enthusiastic, positive and have the ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing, with individuals and in group settings.
Senior Collector
Location: Hawthorne, CA
Responsible for contacting members with delinquent loans to make arrangements for repayment while providing assistance with the coaching and leadership of staff and higher level departmental functions. Assists Collection Manager and Supervisor with escalated member issues and monthly delinquency and charge-off reports. Analyzes credit reports, receives and makes phone calls to members to discuss delinquent accounts and to make payment arrangements, and discusses collection strategy with supervisor and recommends pay plans and/or extension requests. Will be responsible for collections and and handling of mortgage loans including foreclosures and short sales and must have prior experience with these duties. Requires a high school diploma or equivalent with some college preferred. Requires a minimum of three years related experience, with one year lead or supervisory experience required. Requires basic knowledge of collection techniques, skip tracing, Small Claims actions, bankruptcy proceedings, and real estate collections. Requires the ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing. Proficient in word processing software application.
Senior Symitar Programmer
Location: Torrance, CA
This position leads the programming development life cycle, including analysis, design, development, and implementation of Symitar software programs. The position utilizes Symitar's built-in programming tasks to conduct a full range of programming tasks including program design, program coding, and debugging. Develops project scope, business requirements, functional specifications, user acceptance tests, implementation plans, and user documentation. Participates in systems software development and maintenance as well as maintaining productivity levels. Ensures that the departments' workflow and deadlines are being met and in the absence of a supervisor, performs duties such as monitoring breaks, lunch hours, and workflow. Attends appropriate regulatory and user conferences and reads publications in order to remain current and up to date on systems. Utilizes other programming languages to develop interfaces to 3rd party applications. Position requires 3 years of Symitar programming experience in a financial institution, and IBM RS/600 or similar experience with knowledge of AIX, and PC-NT/98/2000 operating systems with object-oriented, relational database and/or report programming. Knowledge of PowerOn and Episys preferred. Also requires the ability to think creatively and work independently with multiple projects simultaneously as well as the ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing. High school diploma is required, with a Bachelor's degree preferred.
