Accidental Death and Dismemberment Insurance

Credit Union members age 18 or over are eligible for $1,000 of basic Accidental Death and Dismemberment Insurance coverage. The Credit Union pays premiums for this basic coverage at no cost to you. Additional coverage may be purchased at competitive, affordable rates. To take advantage of your free coverage, you must complete and submit an enrollment form. To request an enrollment form, please contact the plan administrator at 800-252-2148.

Each member participating in the Plan will receive a Certificate of Insurance describing the exact coverage and benefits provided. The basic coverage will remain in force as long as you are a member of the Credit Union. At age 70, the basic coverage is reduced to $500.

Credit Life and Credit Disability Insurance

The credit insurance services offered by the Credit Union are designed to ensure that your loved ones will not be burdened with the obligation of paying off your loans should something happen to you. Credit Life Insurance pays off your loan balance up to $50,000 in the event of your death, while Credit Disability Insurance is designed to make your loan payments, up to $800 per month, in the event you become unable to work due to an illness or injury. Insurance premiums are included in your loan payment and dual protection plans for Credit Life are available for you and your co-borrower.

Credit Life and Credit Disability insurance are optional but must be purchased at the time the loan account is opened. However, Signature Line of Credit and Visa account owners may purchase this insurance within 30 days of taking an advance. Other restrictions may apply.

Mechanical Breakdown Protection

Mechanical Breakdown Protection (MBP) is offered through Autoland. MBP will cover the cost of parts and labor on most breakdowns, as well as roadside services, car rentals, unlimited claims, transferable policies and coast-to-coast coverage. This extensive coverage is offered at significant savings compared to dealer programs and is there when you need it - 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
